The Biggest Little Cake Shoppe began as Candy Connection 26 years ago in Carson City. The store moved to its current location 16 years ago. We specialize in made to order cakes for all occasions and offer a wide variety of fudge and chocolate candies. We are the only cake and candy supply store in northern Nevada and northeastern California offering a large selection of molds for candy making, cake boards, boxes, tips, bags, pans, fillings, icing for cake making and decorating. Classes in cake decorating are offered for those who want to learn to decorate their own cakes.
In November 2008 Candy Connection was sold to Deb Ricker (deb@thebiggestlittlecakeshoppe.com) and Diana Ellison (diana@thebiggestlittlecakeshoppe.com). The name was changed to The Biggest Little Cake Shoppe to reflect the store being located in Reno, NV - the Biggest Little City. They bring a combined 12 years of cake decorating using the Wilton Method which they are eager to share with all who are interested in learning.
